Hey larry does the FP software have a map out for port velocity?
Also what is the max H2O that Performance Trends Black box can measure ? I see the FP can go to 60"
thanks Dave

I'd email PT and ask about their product directly, they don't seem to be interested in offering support here on the forum.

The PT Black Box sensor is rated to 5 psi... I just asked Kevin about it.

Humm, when I asked him the other month about optimal differential pressure on the PT product I was told anything between 6-12" H2O would work. 6-12" H2O is pretty low on a 5 PSI sensor?
Wonder what effect that has on differential pressure sensitivity?

Yup
I'm going to go out on a real thin limb here (a thicker limb might be used for self lynching) . . . and say maybe that's why nobody wanted to let a flow computer be independently tested on a "home-built" bench and compared to others on the market?

I think that I would venture to their website (Performance Trends) and go to their forum and ask any questions you have. I know they seem to do fairly good at responding there. I know Kevin and know they have a lot on their plate as they are not a big operation. Kevin is always extremely busy and works long hours but has always responded to me. Kevin can only do so much and may just not have the time to venture into this forum with all he has going on. I personally like having the water gauges at least as a backup, although I have never had any trouble with my PT Black Box.
