I have a homemade flow bench and am getting +60 in depression even with two 3 inch bleed offs. Working around this now. But need help on two problems , one is I need a simple valve opener; second is that I am sucking the valve open with the springs I am using. Need some thoughts.

I am using a 1271 blower mounted on a 50 gallon tank and driven by a 5hp 3200 rpm 220 volt motor. I then push air thru a 3 inch pipe with air straighteners in it that dumps into a 25 gallon tank that I have more air straighteners welded in. This inturn goes into cylinders of different dia. to meet my needs. I can flow from as small as I want to 5 inches in dia. I have a inclined manometer that is five feet long with two u tube manometers. One is 36 inches long and other is 12 inches long. I can check port pressure as well as depression. I just installed a Audie Tech system in the 3 inch tubes and am now running comparison test. I made my own orifice plates and ground the internal dimesions to SAE specs but have never flowed them against a known reference then I get lucky and pull the heads off and install them on my grunt engine for my dyno that I built.

I do have pictures of the dyno. I will take pics of the flow bench and post them. I will dig up the dyno pics and post them. If any one interested will post pictures of the CNC mill. Hoping to do a lathe shortly.
