Is that somewhere in this site?
Should I rethink my bench design and revisit my orginal plans to use this method? I was under the impression that due to the nature of flow velocites within the pipe, the orifice sees a relative high velocity compared to the surrounding wall area, therefore the pressures across the orifce are not consisitant for sensing. But I did notice that Performance Trends does just that - a orifice inside a not much bigger PVC pipe.
My current design uses large square chambers with the orifice in the middle. As an example the 2" orfice is mounted in a 10" x 10" x 36" chamber.
PS does anyone have a drawing of the rotating orifice arrangement used in the MSD style menchs? I need to see how that is laid out with sealing and mechnisms.
