Large Vacuum Pump? - Vacuum Pump?

Would a large Vacuum Pump be usable in stead of a series of small vacuum motors? Thanx Mike

Yes, a few of the guys here have done that. One of them that comes to mind immediately is Tony, his bench consists of a single large blowers/vacuum connected to a VFD for speed control. Search the archives for some his posts also have a look at some of the older posts in the Air Movers section.

Yes indeed Mike.

A single large air blower, or even a supercharger works very well, and has quite a few advantages over using a whole bunch of small noisy very high revving vacuum cleaner motors.
Also known as the infamous "Warpspeed" on some other Forums.

I made bench by Tony recomendations with one blower.
I'm happy with him- it's works very good.
