My engine is the typical +.060 455 Pontiac that comes out to ~470CID. Intake port flow above 275CFM at 0.500"-0.550" lift is my goal. Slight problem is I'm at 8.9:1 compression.

12.9s @ 106.5MPH on 87 Octane, no ping. <--should be high 11's but I dunno why I'm so slow.

With this program you can figure some of the parameters you will need to have for the engine. It is surprising accurate. It will help you figure the CSA of your heads for the CID and RPM you will be running.

Thought I responded last week. Oh well. My name is Mark. Primary CFM focus is Pontiac Iron D-Port heads. Thinking about getting the worst possible Pontiac Heads (from the 301 motor) and doing a Flow-Bench project based on getting the 301 heads to match Ram Air III flow. 
Butt hay; If I ruin the head from grinding, it would not really be a loss huh.
