Hi Max,

Because of the sensors and motor controllers, I joined a large cnc router forum in Europe about a year ago. I never intended to build a DIY cnc router, but I read enough to have a feeling what works and what not.

What material and what sizes would you like to work on ?

well the stuff i plan on doing is alot of aluminum plate material .125 thick. logos in valve covers and fuel regulators and such. wood and some aluminum, i have had some parts for project already for about 5 years just now getting back to it. have driver board and steppers and various blueprints and mach3 software and acme thread and antibacklash leadnuts. i like the dos stuff though cuz that is what i learned on and am used to it. it really is a router but i plan on it doing some etching and shallow milling with carbide tooling.i was just curious if anybody done one on this forum. thanks for input.
