Look how the weld lifted right off. Clean as a whistle where the weld was. Looks like no heat penetration to me.

Swing arm failed at the welds and just rolled right up over. Extensive damage to other parts as a result. Rider suffered some pretty sore ribs from getting thrown into the bars.
