Today in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA we celebrated what we call "Days of '47". It is in commemoration of the Mormon Pioneers settling this valley on July 24, 1847. We hold a fairly large parade that the people camp out on the street starting the day before so they can have a good seat. Huge turn out. I have included just a few photos that I took from the TV screen as I was watching. The one I want you to notice the most is the one of the Utah National Guard marching past. As soon as they came into view the crowd immediately stood, everyone of them, and cheered their hearts out. btw this is just a few of the pictures I took. I have 261 photos from the parade. I have them on a cd as a slide show.
