Hi all, When you feel the need for something beside speed, try your hand at this game: identifying American engines from their pics! It wasn't that easy for me, a motorcycle nut!

Hey do you "Old School" guys remember Romeo Palimides,
Jet Car Fame??
I was fortunate, to me anyways to work for him back in early
mid 80's before he passed on. Every day I worked for him it seemed like I was in some kind of Hot Rod magazine story. I great experience.

Racing and hotrodding was much more romantic back then. It is all big bucks and glitz now. That is one reason I love this forum. With, as the Beatles sang, a little help from my friends I have built a very very good flow bench for pennies on the dollar. Yes, Pablo, those were the days! My cousin and I ran a all steel High Boy Model A in B/SR in NHRA. Built it out of our garage and were nationally competitive. Hard to do that now.
