Eric,
So you are running NHRA Nostalgic Junior Fuel? I just looked up the rules in one of the first release rule books. That really looks like a fun class.

How fast are they going?

John

Thanks for the numbers. How much work with the grinder did it take to achieve them? If I recall they would be about 50 cfm more than stock on the intake?

The STD figures ar one post back
I couldn't find much on the INT, the castings are thin and it's best not to push it.
The EXH can gain a lot with the plate but it's a lot of work to get it to work. Most plates give modest gains and need a lot of reworking and even then it's in the high lift area. I have seen some plates flow less than a ported STD port

That INLET is filled, it's 3"sq

We did a modest 400C that made 585hp @ 6500, about 2.8"sq
Those figures are for a faster one

I don't know if it was worth it as are over 100 hours spent on those heads, could of bought some better ones instead

I think the faster cars use a smaller valve than the 2.190" (inserts added)
Over here I heard they are making close to 700hp with no filling(against the rules) but turning 9000rpm
