Ametek Motor data files

Thanks to Terry for sharing his research and adding the following files:

Attached you will find four files on Vacuum Motor performance. Data is calculated and plotted out for single, 4, 8, 12, and 16 motors. You will also find data on voltage, max amperage, thermal protection, impeller diameter, number of stages, max rpm, and pricing through Grainger Industrial Supply (USA).

Motors stated as 120 volts, may be run at 240 volts, by wiring two motors in series. This will help keep your ampacity down.

If you are proficient in Excel, then you can go to any of the 4, 8, 12, or 16, motor data sheets, and change the number in the bold cell, to the number of motors of your choosing. All cells below will update automatically, and the plots will also be updated. Just keep track of which sheet you changed, because the labels for the number of motors in the plots will change. For example, if you change the sheet for 16 motors, and enter 3 motors, the plots identified for 16 motors will only be for 3 motors. You'll notice it in the plots, but this is just a reminder.

The files will allow anyone to get a good idea of the performance of running these vacuum motors in parallel operation. Print them out and compare the various parameters, and you should be able to determine what you like.

These files are all in Excel format, click on the file and it will open in Excel after its open make sure you save it to your computer.
