Vortech Supercharger
Vortech Supercharger Comparison Chart
Has anyone considered running these type of superchargers for a pump source for their flowbench design. Lets face it if you need plenty of air and pressure this is the answer. When one purchase 12 vacuum cleaner motors and not to mention the noise level I pretty sure the performance will not be match by one of these supercharges run at 5000 to 10,000 engine RPM to run the blowers in the vicinity of 50,000 RPM.
Vortech Supercharger models V-1,V-2 SQ,V-3,V-4,V-5,V-7 extreme CFM/boost demands,V-9 and V-20 high-powered (1,000+ HP)
There are plenty of other companies world wide manufacturing these style of belt driven superchargers. Just a few of the companies that do exist.
And not to mention the more conventional style of screw supercharge we all are used to seeing

Vortech actually manufacture an industrial air blower called "Vortron".
It certainly works, and works very well.
For us, the only real disadvantage is cost.
These centrifugal superchargers are eagerly sought after by hot rodders, so even second hand they are a bit spendy.
But if you already have one, go for it.
It will not work any better than a large diameter industrial blower, just be smaller.
