Looking for help to work out what size rollers I would need for a chassis dyno to test 4stroke karts and Junior dragsters.

Still looking for some idears, Inertia chassis dyno or brake/ TQ arm chassis dyno??

The larger the roller diameter the better. The ground is flat, but coupling power into a highly curved roller by frictional grip is going to be much less efficient. The smaller the roller diameter the worse it is.

Inertia dyno is simple, but potentially dangerous. Not being able to hold constant Rpm is a very great disadvantage for engine tuning or engine development work, but fine for just testing final power.

A water brake, or an eddy current absorber would be best. A friction brake might work too, but could be tricky to control properly with a peaky engine.
