Cylinder head adaptor?

Personally, I'd make an adapter that accepts different bore inserts. There is one design on the market like that.

Being new to the forum and working on reading as much as possible in the shortest amount of time, I'm not sure if this has been brought up somewhere else, but here goes...
I read somewhere (not sure where right now) that a good probe-type tool is a string or a thread and if you make your cylinder head adapter clear, you could "sail" your thread into the intake port and see where it comes out the valve. Might help in locating "dead" spots.
So...I'm for a clear one!

Well Daniel... even with the biased cut the air will have the tendency to get turbulent.
Bruce, where is this adapter that accepts diffrent bore inserts? Is it possible for you to post a pic. .
