Flowbench Plans 

• The PTS plans were designed using proven design & ideas/tips discussed and tested by members of my Flowbench Forum on their own homebuilt flowbenches. 
• The PTS plans are based on an orifice style bench using my orifice plates (or your own design) it offers reverse flow for intake or exhaust testing by flipping the orifice plate and reversing the slider plate. 
• This bench is not based on a shop vac or knock-off of the MSD design! 
• The "foot-print" of the bench is 36"w x 25"d x 40"h.
• The plans are not a photocopy of magazine articles!! They are original based on proven designs.
• Ranges can be changed with different size orifice plates. 
• No additional Flow Elements are required for this bench design, all flow measurement is performed with the orifice plate inside the bench.
  
• The slider plate is the only moving part in the bench, there are no extra valves or rotating orifice disk which can be prone to leakage.
• Gages are digital based, you will need to purchase digital gauges of your choice, (*see note below about the
  PTS Digital Manometer) or you can design your own water manometers from the info found on the forum, at the current time I'm not supplying this info in the plans but, it is currently under development in my shop and is available on the Flowbench Forum.
• Flow depression is controlled via electric motor control.
  (manual valve optional, not in the plans, supported on the Flowbench Forum)
• Has the capability of using 2-8 blower motors depending on your flow needs, budget and power.
• The plans are fully supported on the Flowbench Forum for anyone who purchases the plans.
• This bench can be built on a budget (roughly around $500 unknown cfm potential) or buying all new parts with a typical cost of around $1500-2000 for a bench capable of a true 450cfm@28".
• This bench design is very accurate and repeatable, all of which depends on your attention to details in construction. I have many satisfied customers all over the world currently building or using my bench design!
• It is comparable in design to commercially produced flowbenches selling for $$$$ with the reputation and support of the Flowbench Forum to back it up . . .
